Let us apply Evwa (Ifa) to Nigerian justice system to clean Nigeria.
Part 1:
In this moment, I am watching the speech of Gov. Rosales of the State in Venezuela that neighbours Colombia who is heading a group of politicians against the pugnacious Chavez of Venezuela who had ordered troops movement to the Colombian border. This is a sign that the days of Chavez as President in Venezuela are numbered even if it takes years.
It reminds me of what I had always thought that if some civilians have boldly opposed the first military coup in Nigeria, our beloved Nigeria would never have tasted the bitter soup of a civil war.
The attitude of Chavez is a clear proof that a military can never head a democratic government. One may say soldiers have been President in the USA but in the USA, there is an Establishment that rules, and in fact the American Government is de facto, it is constantly in a war or the other because it is funded by weapons industries.
Democracy in America is within a drawn boundary out of which there is no democracy. The American people are about the most deceived people on earth. Barack Obama has just begun a movement that will make America fully democratic and this democratic movement will spread around the world.
We all know that elections have always been rigged in Nigeria, nevertheless we must continue with electoral process because democracy is the only system that can rectify its errors and the Movement for Change lead by Obama is a proof.
Obasanjo the wicked, destroyed Odi because policemen were killed without even asking how it happened. In a country where police exhort money from the public in broad daylight, nobody in Nigeria asked what happened, Nigerians were just silence while Obasanjo’s soldiers destroyed a whole civilization in retaliation for the death of Policemen who had sworn to live and die for the nation.
I am beginning to think that Christianity and Islam have forced our people to obey corrupt leaders and weaken the people. They have brought our people to their knees.
Other African traditional faiths have been based on divine justice, Evwa “Ifa” will tell you who killed the policemen and if he refuses, he will be asked to drink water.
An Igbo chap told me here in Buenos Aires some days ago that if two Christians have problems, they go to court but under traditional system, they know what it means. So it is evident that imported religions have inflated corruption and oppression in Nigeria.
Obasanjo’s son accused his father, let them seek traditional justice and see. Christianity has become a refuge for criminals instead of being liberation of sinners from evil.
I conclude that we must reintroduce Evwa (Ifa) into our justice system, with that step A Christian will be a better Christian, a Muslim will be a better Muslim and a Jew will be a better Jew. All these religions sprang off from Africa, and by our African traditional values, we shall be practitioners of any of these faith to the best.
I use this article to condemn the destruction of Odi and other Nigerian villages during the dictatorship disguised by democracy of Olusegun Obasanjo.
A Judge was promoted to the Supreme Court days before he passes judgement on a case against the President. The president won the case. The rulers of Nigeria must believe that we Nigerians are stupid. In fact I now believe that we Nigerians are stupid, idiots, fool and worse that senseless thing. I have never seen a people ever so screwed by their leaders like Nigerians. It is shameful and painful.
Today the army is warning trouble makers. The army has no business in containing civil protest. Our police are so corrupt and inept that the army takes its place. Nigeria is a democracy. The police should assume with honour its civil duties and the armed forces remain in the barracks and ready to defend Nigeria against foreign invasion.
Here in Argentina, you can never see a soldier in uniform on the street. Millitary regime left scars in this society to the extent that no one wants to see them on the street. It is almost a taboo to see a uniformed soldier walking in the street of Buenos Aires. It is time for Nigerians to thwart the presence of soldiers on their streets. The warning by the military against civil disobedient is highly condemnable.
Nigerians should reject the candidacy of any military office to an elected office as a rejection of years of dictatorship. Receive Email Updates
